COURSE SYLLABUS (ONE-DAY INTENSIVE) Course Title: Advanced Medical Billing in Dentistry: Level II Biller & Appeals Mastery (One-Day Master Course) Course Length: 1 Full Day — 8.5 Hours (with breaks) Prerequisite Requirement: Participants must have completed a Two-Day Medical Billing for Dentistry Course through PPO Profits or an approved equivalent. Students must already understand: • Basic CPT and ICD-10 coding • Verification of Benefits • Medical necessity documentation • Workflow of medical claim submission • Foundational payer policy interpretation Enrollment requires documented proof of completion. Course Description This one-day master-level certification course is designed for advanced dental billers ready to become Level II specialists capable of independently handling complex medical claims, denial management, appeals, and payer escalations. This intensive training blends real-world EOB review, guided appeals lab work, payer policy application, and high-level communication strategies used by professional medical billers. Students will end the day with the ability to read and interpret EOBs at a professional level, identify when a denial must be appealed, write effective appeals with complete supporting documentation, and escalate unresolved cases to senior-level insurance representatives.
